The Lesson

If you struggle to wake up: (1) Never use snooze-the moment you give yourself permission to snooze, you've already failed. (2) Get up AS you turn off the alarm-simultaneous, not sequential. (3) If using two alarms, set them for the exact same time. Staggered times = built-in snooze = planning to fail. (4) Put one alarm too far from bed to reach. Biggest life hack: go to bed and wake up at the same time every day-weekends included. Sleeping in 'because you can' destroys your sleep habit. Consistency beats catching up.

Real-World Example

A founder can't wake up for morning meetings. They have two alarms five minutes apart-which means they ignore the first one every time. Fix: both alarms at 6:00 AM, one across the room. No snooze option exists. Within two weeks, they wake up before the alarm because the habit is locked in.
