WHY REFRAMES MATTER
“reframe your thoughts. destiny follows.”
The Lesson
Lao Tzu's cascade: watch your thoughts, they become words. Words become actions. Actions become habits. Habits become character. Character becomes destiny. Reframes matter because they're the first step in this cascade. When you rearrange words and thoughts into a more useful form, everything downstream changes. Your words are the programming of your brain. Change the words, change the actions, change the habits, change your character, change your destiny. This also explains why AI and large language models matter-words create intelligence. Get your words wrong, and there's a bad cascade.
Real-World Example
A founder's thought: 'I'm not a salesperson.' Words: 'I hate selling.' Actions: avoids sales calls. Habits: delegation without understanding. Character: disconnected CEO. Destiny: company fails. Reframe: 'Every founder sells-it's just sharing what I built.' New cascade unfolds. Same founder, different destiny, started with different words.
